Editing your home listing is simple, and you can do it as much as you like. First, sign in with your listing number and password, and go to your listing page. If you scroll down to the bottom of the page, you can click the "Edit" option, which will bring you to an editing page for your listing. You can change any information you like. When you finish, click on the "Preview Listing" option to see the new version of your listing. If you are satisfied, click "Finish" and your updated listing will appear on our database right away.
How can I pay for my listing without a credit card?
Currently, iHousesDirect.com is offering a promotion in which all listings are free. However, for future reference, the easiest way to pay for iHousesDirect.com listings is with a credit card.
You can pay by check or money order by simply creating a listing for your home and then saving it but don't bother with the credit card activation page. Take note of your Listing Number, and write a check made out to "iHousesDirect.com" with your listing number in the Memo line of the check. Then, mail it to us at the address provided under our "Contact us" menu. Once we receive your check, we will use the listing number to locate your saved listing and activate it for you. We will send you an e-mail to inform you we have received payment and your listing is activated.
How do I upload photos onto my listing?
iHousesDirect.com strongly recommends you upload photos to your listing in the interest of making your listing more attractive to potential buyers. Follow these simple steps to upload photos.
First, login to iHousesDirect.com and go to your listing page. Scroll down to the bottom and click the "Upload Photos" button. Then, you'll be able to click the "Browse" button and browse your computer for photo files to upload. iHousesDirect.com supports .jpg, .jpeg, .tiff, .tif, .bmp, or .gif photo files, and they must be 1 MB or less in size. If you see an error message when you try to upload, it is usually because your photo is too large or of an incorrect format. Once you find the files you want, click "Upload", and they will appear on the following page.
If you wish to delete photos, simply select the box next to the photo you'd like to delete, and click the "Delete" button. Once you are finished uploading or deleting, click the "Save Changes" button at the bottom of the page and you are finished. You can go to your listing page again at this point to make sure your photo appears.

Usually, the only problem is that the new photo hasn't added itself to your browser's cache yet. This means that your old photo is still displaying as the primary photo because your browser hasn't updated to the change yet. Try clicking the "Refresh" button, and the photo should show up within five minutes.
